The Sindh government is fully committed to facilitating the private sector companies that stand for exploiting the renewable energy resources abundantly available in the province so that there should be lesser reliance on imported fossil fuels for the protection of the national economy.
This was stated by the Sindh government’s Energy Secretary, Abu Bakar Ahmed Madani, while speaking as the chief guest at an event “Solar Power Day” organised by GoodWe Pakistan.
The Energy Secretary said the Sindh government fully facilitated investment by the private sector in the alternative energy sector so that Pakistan could meet its target of producing 30 per cent of electricity in the country through renewable power resources by 2030.
He said the Sindh government was also fully committed to the cause of producing solar energy for electrifying public sector buildings.
He informed the audience that solar energy systems had already been installed at 225 primary health facilities in 13 districts of the province.
The Energy Secretary said the Sindh government had proposed the inclusion of 22 IPP-based on-grid solar PV projects with a cumulative capacity of 1550 MWs in the Indicative Generation Capacity Expansion Plan-2021.
He told the audience that the Sindh government had been working with the World Bank to fully harness the solar energy potential of the province.
He said the World Bank had been assisting the Sindh government to establish solar PV grid-connected power projects of cumulative 400 MWs generation capacity.
He said that another component of the assistance programme was utilization of rooftops of government buildings for generating up to 20 MWs of distributed solar power.
The third component, which has recently been launched is the provision of 200,000 solar home systems in faraway off-grid areas of ten districts.
Madani held out the assurance that a one-window facility would be available to all the energy sector companies that wanted to become a partner in the Sindh government’s drive to generate maximum electricity on the basis of wind and solar power.
Also speaking on the occasion, GoodWe Pakistan Country Manager, Syed Salman Mohiuddin, said that all the major stakeholders of Pakistan’s renewable energy market had fully realised in the last few years that GoodWe had emerged as a leading multinational solar power company.
He said that GoodWe proved its worth as a leading global clean energy company having a very vibrant presence in the markets of the US, European countries, and Australia.
He told the audience that the world’s leading energy company, General Electric, had partnered with GoodWe in 2018. This partnership proves that GoodWe stands out among the tier-one solar power companies in the global market, he said.
With a very humble beginning in 2008 GoodWe emerged as a public listed company in China in 2018, he added.
He said that GoodWe had the range of the latest products, which would be required by any investor launching clean energy projects in a market like Pakistan.
Mohiuddin held out the assurance that GoodWe would fully support the drive of the federal and Sindh governments to produce maximum clean electricity in the country through alternative energy means.
Ahmad Raafay Asad, Technical Services Head of GoodWe Pakistan, said that GoodWe had unveiled its new ET and ES series of inverters for solar hybrid power systems for the maximum economic and energy benefits of the consumers in Pakistan.
He said that GoodWe with its range of the latest inverters was in the best position to serve both the domestic and commercial electricity consumers in Pakistan to their utmost satisfaction.
He said the range of inverters produced by GoodWe were the best products for solar hybrid systems in the country.

سندھ حکومت نجی شعبے کی کمپنیوں کو سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے پوری طرح پرعزم ہے جو صوبے میں دستیاب قابل تجدید توانائی کے وسائل سے فائدہ اٹھانے کے لیے کھڑی ہے تاکہ قومی معیشت کے تحفظ کے لیے درآمدی فوسل فیول پر انحصار کم ہو۔یہ بات سندھ حکومت کے سیکریٹری انرجی ابوبکر احمد مدنی نے گڈ وی پاکستان کے زیر اہتمام “سولر پاور ڈے” کی تقریب میں بطور مہمان خصوصی خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہی۔سیکرٹری توانائی نے کہا کہ سندھ حکومت نے متبادل توانائی کے شعبے میں نجی شعبے کی سرمایہ کاری کو مکمل طور پر سہولت فراہم کی ہے تاکہ پاکستان 2030 تک قابل تجدید توانائی کے وسائل کے ذریعے ملک میں 30 فیصد بجلی پیدا کرنے کا ہدف پورا کر سکے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ سندھ حکومت پبلک سیکٹر کی عمارتوں کو بجلی دینے کے لیے شمسی توانائی پیدا کرنے کے مقصد کے لیے بھی پوری طرح پرعزم ہے۔انہوں نے حاضرین کو بتایا کہ صوبے کے 13 اضلاع میں 225 بنیادی صحت کی سہولیات پر سولر انرجی سسٹم پہلے ہی نصب کیے جا چکے ہیں۔سیکریٹری توانائی نے کہا کہ سندھ حکومت نے 22 آئی پی پی پر مبنی آن گرڈ سولر پی وی پروجیکٹس کو انڈیکیٹیو جنریشن کیپیسٹی ایکسپینشن پلان 2021 میں 1550 میگاواٹ کی مجموعی صلاحیت کے ساتھ شامل کرنے کی تجویز دی تھی۔انہوں نے حاضرین کو بتایا کہ سندھ حکومت صوبے کی شمسی توانائی کی صلاحیت کو مکمل طور پر بروئے کار لانے کے لیے عالمی بینک کے ساتھ مل کر کام کر رہی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ عالمی بنک سندھ حکومت کی مجموعی 400 میگاواٹ پیداواری صلاحیت کے سولر پی وی گرڈ سے منسلک پاور پراجیکٹس کے قیام میں مدد کر رہا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ امدادی پروگرام کا ایک اور جزو 20 میگاواٹ تک تقسیم شدہ شمسی توانائی پیدا کرنے کے لیے سرکاری عمارتوں کی چھتوں کا استعمال تھا۔تیسرا جزو، جسے حال ہی میں شروع کیا گیا ہے، دس اضلاع کے دور دراز علاقوں میں 200,000 سولر ہوم سسٹمز کی فراہمی ہے۔
مدنی نے یقین دہانی کرائی کہ توانائی کے شعبے کی ان تمام کمپنیوں کو ون ونڈو کی سہولت دستیاب ہوگی جو سندھ حکومت کی ہوا اور شمسی توانائی کی بنیاد پر زیادہ سے زیادہ بجلی پیدا کرنے کی مہم میں شراکت دار بننا چاہتی ہیں۔اس موقع پر گڈ وے پاکستان کے کنٹری منیجر سید سلمان محی الدین نے بھی کہا کہ پاکستان کی قابل تجدید توانائی کی مارکیٹ کے تمام بڑے اسٹیک ہولڈرز کو گزشتہ چند سالوں میں اس بات کا بخوبی اندازہ ہو گیا ہے کہ گڈ وی ایک معروف ملٹی نیشنل سولر پاور کمپنی کے طور پر ابھری ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گڈ وی نے امریکہ، یورپی ممالک اور آسٹریلیا کی مارکیٹوں میں ایک انتہائی متحرک موجودگی کے ساتھ ایک صف اول کی عالمی کلین انرجی کمپنی کے طور پر اپنی اہمیت کو ثابت کیا۔انہوں نے سامعین کو بتایا کہ دنیا کی معروف توانائی کمپنی، جنرل الیکٹرک نے 2018 میں گڈ وی کے ساتھ شراکت داری کی تھی۔ اس شراکت داری سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ گڈ وی عالمی مارکیٹ میں پہلی مرتبہ شمسی توانائی کی کمپنیوں میں نمایاں ہے۔انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ 2008 میں ایک انتہائی شائستہ آغاز کے ساتھ گڈ وی 2018 میں چین میں ایک پبلک لسٹڈ کمپنی کے طور پر ابھرا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گڈ وی کے پاس جدید ترین مصنوعات کی رینج موجود ہے، جو پاکستان جیسی مارکیٹ میں صاف توانائی کے منصوبے شروع کرنے والے کسی بھی سرمایہ کار کو درکار ہوگی۔محی الدین نے یقین دلایا کہ گڈ وی وفاقی اور سندھ حکومتوں کی ملک میں متبادل توانائی کے ذرائع سے زیادہ سے زیادہ صاف بجلی پیدا کرنے کی مہم کی مکمل حمایت کرے گا۔ گڈ وی پاکستان کے ٹیکنیکل سروسز کے سربراہ احمد رافع اسد نے کہا کہ گڈ وی نے پاکستان میں صارفین کے زیادہ سے زیادہ اقتصادی اور توانائی کے فوائد کے لیے سولر ہائبرڈ پاور سسٹم کے لیے انورٹرز کی نئی ای ٹی اور ای ایس سیریز کی نقاب کشائی کی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گڈ وی اپنے جدید ترین انورٹرز کی رینج کے ساتھ پاکستان میں گھریلو اور کمرشل دونوں طرح کے بجلی صارفین کو ان کے انتہائی اطمینان کے ساتھ خدمات فراہم کرنے کے لیے بہترین پوزیشن میں ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گڈ وی کی طرف سے تیار کردہ انورٹرز کی رینج بہترین مصنوعات ہیں
