.For brain storming I am of the view that if in winter total NTDC load is 9000 MW if aardvark group of 1200 MW tripped due to any fault then expected drop in frequency will be around 6% .let say if Kanuup 2400 MW tripped the drop in frequency in winter will be around 13% and in summer it will be 7%.The 7% drop in frequency can tripped the whole fragile grid system.
I was opposing the insatllation of large generating station like kanupp 2 with out proper study of primary secondary and tertiary frequency drop.
The Pakistani grid can not sustain if any large unit will trip especially in winter.
My preliminary analysis is in NAwaz era large type of units installed with out any proper grid study.
Kind Regards
Aijaz Umer.
Unortunatelly we will face such type of more tripping in future especially in winter.
