Balochistan MPAs Demand Installation of LPG Plants in Remote Areas

QUETTA: Members of the Balochistan Assembly have called on the federal government to initiate the installation of LPG gas plants to address the gas shortage in the province.

During the session, MPA Asad Baloch presented a resolution advocating for the establishment of LPG gas facilities in remote areas. The resolution highlights the urgent need for reliable energy sources in underserved regions of Balochistan.

In addition, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti proposed a debate to build consensus on appointment criteria within the education department, specifically regarding the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University. Bugti emphasized the importance of merit-based hiring and the need to eliminate job selling practices. The Speaker adjourned the session until May 23.
