KARACHI: Regal Automobiles Industries Limited has marked a historic milestone in Pakistan’s automotive sector with the launch of the country’s first locally assembled electric SUV, the Seres 3. The unveiling ceremony, held at the company’s state-of-the-art plant, symbolizes a major leap towards sustainable and eco-friendly mobility in Pakistan.
The Seres 3 features cutting-edge technology, including a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering an impressive range of up to 403 kilometers per charge (NEDC cycle). With a power output of 156 hp, 280 Nm of torque, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds, the SUV combines efficiency with performance. It also supports DC fast charging, recharging 80% of its battery in just 40 minutes.
Inside, the Seres 3 boasts a luxurious interior with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, advanced infotainment features, and enhanced safety systems, including lane-keeping assist, collision warnings, and hill descent control.
