DUBAI, Dec 17 (Reuters): ADNOC Gas, the gas subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has announced the appointment of Fatema Al Nuaimi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Al Nuaimi succeeds Ahmed Alebri, who is stepping down after nearly two years of leadership.
Al Nuaimi, a seasoned energy industry professional, will oversee the implementation of ADNOC Gas’s ambitious business strategy, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market presence, and driving sustainable growth. Her appointment underscores ADNOC’s commitment to fostering Emirati leadership and empowering women in key roles within the energy sector.
Al Nuaimi brings extensive experience from her previous leadership roles within ADNOC and is expected to guide ADNOC Gas in addressing evolving energy demands while supporting the UAE’s broader energy transition goals.
