Abu Dhabi, UAE – The World Future Energy Summit 2025, the region’s premier event championing clean energy and sustainability, kicks off today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Hosted by Masdar, the three-day summit promises dynamic discussions, cutting-edge product showcases, and collaborative efforts toward global sustainability.
Running until January 16 as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the summit has witnessed a record-breaking 25% increase in visitor registrations. Over 30,000 attendees, including global policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability advocates, will engage in sessions focused on renewable energy, AI innovation, green financing, and sustainable cities.
This year’s highlights include advancements in AI applications, from real-time urban traffic management to autonomous drilling operations that have already saved $500 million and reduced CO2 emissions by one million tons. The conference features seven thematic streams: Solar & Clean Energy, Water, EcoWASTE, Sustainable Cities, Green Finance, eMobility, and Pathways to 1.5°C.
Notable speakers include UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure representatives, global leaders in eMobility and climate science, and sustainability advocates from Emirates Nature-WWF and Greenpeace.
The event also features groundbreaking exhibits, including the Climate Innovations Exchange (CLIX) and its new AI-driven showcase, CLIXai, which highlights transformative solutions addressing climate challenges. Attendees can explore the Green Hydrogen Innovation Hub and Cleantech Innovation Zone, participate in live demonstrations, and connect with leading innovators.
