MNAs’ Salaries to Increase from January 1 After Nine Years

Islamabad: The National Assembly’s finance committee, chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has approved an increase in Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) salaries, effective January 1, 2025. The decision, signed by the speaker after approval from the prime minister, marks the first salary hike in nine years.

Under the revised structure, MNAs will now receive a monthly salary of Rs519,000, aligning their pay with that of a federal secretary. However, the salaries of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will remain unchanged
