ISLAMABAD: Chairperson of Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC), Zafar Masud, visited the company’s head office on Monday to commend Managing Director Ahmed Hayat Lak and the OGDC team for the successful organisation of the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025 (PMIF25), according to a press release.
Masud applauded the team for hosting a world-class event that showcased Pakistan’s mineral wealth to a global audience, firmly positioning the country as a rising hub for mineral and resource investment. He emphasized the need to sustain this momentum by initiating early preparations for PMIF 2026.
During discussions on the next edition, Masud stressed the importance of international outreach, innovation, and inclusivity. He called for ambitious planning and strategic execution to elevate PMIF26’s impact. Initial deliberations also covered potential dates and venues for the upcoming event.
PMIF25, organized by OGDC in collaboration with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the government, drew over 5,000 attendees, including more than 300 national and international delegates.
