Karachi: The new office-bearers and members of the executive committee of the Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) have been elected for the year 2020-2021.
According to the results of the elections, Muhammad Farhan has been elected as chairman and Waqas Haroon Moosa as senior vice-chairman of the PSA. Gul Sher Khan, Hafiz Muhammad Shoaib, Naveed, and Faheem Asharf, have all been elected as the vice-chairmen of the association.
Members of the newly elected executive committee of the PSA are: Amir Pervaiz Chaudhary, Shafiq Ur Rehman, Muhammad Rizwan Ramzan, Asghar Ali, Muhammad Jibran, Rana Ghulam Abbas, Muhammad Bilal, Salman Khalid, and Ali Rafiq.
It is worth mentioning here that the PSA is a non-profit, non-governmental trade body, registered with the federal government’s Director General Trade Organisation that aims to promote and support the solar industry in Pakistan. The PSA member companies are from all segments of the value chain, such as engineering, professional services, small traders, manufacturing, and contracting companies related to the solar industry.
