Ruqiya Naeem Qureshi has been conferred an award for showing excellence in the fields of event management and public relations for the past three decades.
Mrs. Naeem Qureshi received the excellence award at the recently held event SRM Couture Celebrating Women’s Empowerment.
The event was held to celebrate and recognize the achievements of distinguished women in the fields of business and entrepreneurship, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
A total of 35 women were given awards on the occasion for showing distinction in various fields.
Mrs. Naeem Qureshi has been the Secretary-General of the National Forum for Environment and Health for the past two decades. She has been looking after the accounts, human resources, and event management functions of the non-governmental organization. She has organized a number of events related to environmental protection, tree plantation, cleanliness drives, corporate social responsibility, clean energy, fire safety, and health, particularly women’s health.
She also looks after the operational affairs of the Publicity Channel which is a leading PR agency in Karachi. Earlier, she remained associated with the PR section of Pakistan Steel for 12 years and was responsible for maintaining cordial relations between the media and one of the largest industrial corporations of the country.
She also did freelancing for a number of leading print publications.
